Major is a sweet and shy 2-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix who was surrendered by his family when they were unable to care for him. He has lived with other animals and gets along fine with everyone. Major's main issue is that he is under-socialized and would benefit from having a patient and gentle person in his life who can expose him to the big world and help him gain confidence in new situations. He is especially fearful of men, and may have had a bad experience in his past life. Major is a very gentle dog and loves sitting on laps and carefully taking treats from your fingers.
