Love big dogs? Maverick is a handsome 1-2 year-old German Shepherd mix and weighs about 85 pounds. He's a happy-go-lucky guy who loves meeting new people and gets along nicely with other dogs. (Not yet cat-tested.) Maverick came to us from the Pacific Grove Animal Control when his owners could no longer care for him. Despite the recent changes in his life, Maverick seems to be the kind of dog that takes everything in stride. He knows how to sit for a treat, and is a quick learner.
