Giraffe is a sweet 4-month-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who came to us from the Monterey County Shelter after coming in as an injured stray. She had been hit by a car while running loose as a stray, and suffered a fractured hind leg. Giraffe underwent surgery to plate the broken bones, and she's now recovering in foster care. This friendly and playful pup charms every person she meets, and we are happy she now has a second chance at finding a family of her own. She is waiting for her forever home.
