Description
Rare French Red Wine! "A simply stunning nose of mint, cedar with a hint of burnt toast, that dare I say reminds me of the stunning Latour '61. Brilliant definition and clarity. The palate is full-bodied with astounding definition and symmetry, notes of baked black cherries, iodine, boysenberry with an almost citrus like freshness. A lovely sappy, cassis tinged finish. The structure and focus of this wine suggests this has a few years ahead. One of the overlooked wines of this iconic vintage and in my opinion a tour de force '61. Drink now-2020. Tasted October 2007." Neil Martin, Wine Journal
