Gabriela's Mexican Restaurant
Cross through the authentic Mexican Mission style door and enter an upper west side oasis while dining on what has been called "Some of the best Mexican Food in NYC" (Epoch Times) Everything here is big: The tequila menu lists 75 bottles, and the dinner menu tackles 50 or so classics. In addition to fajitas, enchiladas, burritos and tacos, Gabriela's offers three dishes specifically for vegetarians (chiles rellenos, a salad and veggies with pumpkin-seed sauce), plus five for meat lovers, including a filling mixed grill of sweet chorizo, rotisserie chicken and tender pork ribs served with a perfunctory honey-chipotle barbecue dipping sauce (the meat's great as is).
