Annaly Farms began as a “wholesale only” business in 1974 and after Hurricane Hugo in 1989, started to develop a strong retail business as well. Since then Annaly Farms has catered to the customer who not only is looking to save money but is also looking for quality meats and custom cuts of beef. Annaly Farms has always been known for their local “free range” hormone-free Senepol beef but now we are also carrying hormone-free chicken: whole, boneless breasts and thighs.

One myth about Annaly Farms is that we only carry local beef. Not true, we carry lots of U.S. choice beef as well: delicious, tender filet mignons; NY strips; rib eyes; and, of course, big juicy Porterhouses.

If it’s your first time at Annaly Farms, don’t be shy, the store is not like your regular grocery store (and that’s a good thing). We don’t have steaks precut in freezers, we cut them to order for you. Our staff is trained to be service-oriented. Want your rib eyes 1” thick? Ask our professional butcher to cut them that way and that’s how you’ll get them.

We also carry a wide assortment of other meats – like pork, lamb and over ten different types of seafood, including local fish!

ARTFarm:

Local artists Luca & Christina Gasperi run ARTfarm, a small local vegetable farm and art gallery. Together with a small staff we grow a variety of salad greens, heirloom tomatoes, herbs, veggies, and tropical fruits. We welcome volunteers who want to learn about our organic growing methods.

CURRENT FARMSTAND HOURS

As of January 2013: Our farmstand is open, rain or shine, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3 PM to 6 PM and on Saturday mornings from 10 AM until 12 noon.

Our produce is available three days a week during farmstand hours on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is occasionally a line that forms outside the gate prior to the opening time. Due to time and staff constraints, we cannot take retail orders over the phone, email or social media. Please come early for the best selection! We greatly appreciate your support.

HOW TO FIND US

Our farmstand, at the entrance to ARTfarm, is located on the south side of St. Croix’s South Shore Road (Rt. 62), east of Ha’Penny Beach and west of the Boy Scout Camp. (That’s also east of the Hovensa oil refinery and west of the Divi Casino.) Look for our signs and the stone cattle pens to find us.
