Genine is a native New Yorker and a former commercial print agent with Abrams Artists, one of the top talent agencies in New York City. During her 13 years as an agent, she also ran her own photography business photographing actors and models. Though she loved her time with the agency, the demand for her photography grew to a point where she could no longer split her time and soon made the decision to be a full time photographer specializing in natural light portraits.

Prior to her work in the entertainment industry she studied photography at the Center for Media Arts where she developed her creative eye for natural light photography. By using available light, both indoors and out, for all of her portrait sessions Genine is able to create a documentary feel to her images that best capture the honesty of her subjects. Plus, she believes that natural light provides a particularly flattering light that can not be recreated in a studio.

Genine's ability to create a relaxed atmosphere in her sessions combined with her unobtrusive style produce images that are full of spontaneity and life.
