Description
Two Private Skateboard Lessons with BB Social Club.
Omar Rivera, owner of BBSC, has been skating for 20 years. He started skating as a kid in upstate NY, using the ledge outside his grandma's house, getting so obsessed with skating, he spent all his free time there.
Many contests and sponsors later, Omar decided to leave his hometown and move to NYC to pursue his two greatest passions, skateboarding and music. In 2006 Omar landed a job at Reciprocal skate shop in the East Village, and soon became one of the shops owners. It was at Reciprocal that Omar began teaching skateboarding, first doing a summer camp, and then eventually doing both private and group lessons.
Omar found a true love in teaching skateboarding to kids, and by 2009 had become so busy with his students, he made the decision to leave Reciprocal and teach skateboarding full time.
In 2010 Omar decided to take his dream to the next level when he started his Skateboard, lifestyle company, BB Social Club.
