Film at 11 was founded in 2008 by former PBS and CNN HLN journalist Michele Mitchell and recovering lawyer Ed Head. Their first feature length documentary "Haiti: Where Did The Money Go?" won an Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Television Documentary in 2013.
Film at 11 current project is a feature length documentary titled "The Uncondemned" an untold story about young lawyers and three brave women in Rwanda who, against all odds, changed history twenty years ago. The entire funding for the documentary is being crowd funded with a Kickstarter Campaign and through fundraising events in NYC, SF and various other locations across the nation.
Tribeca designers Jes Wade and Cass Lilien inspired by this untold story created designs to support the the making of "The Uncondemned." The braille tees and morse code bracelets were launched at a LOVE SHOP event at the Jes Wade Atelier in March.
