Mixed Media: Digital Photography and Colored Pencil on Card Stock

The students in Rochelle's second grade class were inspired by the exquisite building where their learning takes place.  In an effort to capture both the unique personalities of each child as well as the dramatic beauty of the building that houses their school, the students made self portraits in colored pencil on 5X7 index cards.  The portraits were then scanned and merged with a photographic rendering of the building that Frank Gehry designed.
