Description

Bragging rights come with the territory or terrior with this wine!

1989 was one of the best vintages of red Bordeaux hands down, and no cellar would be complete without a few of these lovelies in your collection. Be the winning bidder and you can enjoy this wine for yourself.

1989    Chateau Gruaud Larose, Saint-Julien (92 Points, Wine Spectator)

"With the Bordeaux slogan 'the wine of kings, the king of wines', Château Gruaud Larose revels in its celebrated Second Growth status in the compact, cru classé-concentrated appellation of Saint-Julien, the smallest of the Médoc's famous regions.  Bright and juicy on entry, then sweeter and richer in the middle, with chunky red berry and cherry flavors Sweet cherry and cassis aromas with dewy floral accents. The palate is certainly pretty with ripe juicy red cherry mingled with firm tannins and long, silky-textured, minty, berry finish. Very fine. Very pleasurable. A lovely vintage, drinking well today."

The wines have been stored in a wine cellar, and have an excellent provenance.
