Description
You are bidding on a 21" x 30" framed original acrylic on canvas painting by Grubacher bronze award winner Irwin Traugot. Traugot is well-known in New York for his impressionistic paintings of quiet moments. To find out more about his work read this article in the CSA Journal and visit the BJ Spoke Gallery.
This particular painting dates to the 1980's and was donated by a collector and friend of the artist. Using shades of green, it depicts a rustic window in partial shadow with visual interest both in front of and beyond the window. Look closely and you'll see a hanging plant on the other side and a potted plant on the sill. It is a lovely and tranquil view.
