Custom mixed media portrait by local artist and Capri parent Kirsten Francis.
The winner of this auction will receive a beautiful, fine art custom portrait of a person of their choice created by local artist and Capri parent Kirsten Francis. Francis, who began her career as a printmaker, creates realistic and sensitive portraits of children and adults using a variety of different media (or whatever happens to be around). Starting with a digital photo, she makes a drawing of the portrait's subject and then uses colored pencils and acrylic paint to build up detail. She also uses collage elements to express the unique personality and character of the person portrayed.
Final portrait will be on paper, approximately 12" x 16" in size. Auction winner must provide digital photos of subject.
Special Instructions
Bidder is responsible for Shipping and Handling fee and any additional insurance, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Bidder may be billed separately for shipping charges depending on the item and location. Items will be shipped via USPS and billed at standard industry rates. Capri Elementary School Auction will only ship within the United States. No PO Boxes and no C.O.D.
