After leaving her cousin's famous Del Mar French Pastry Cafe, Isabelle and her husband John opened the French Pastry Cafe in Encinitas in 2006. Using Cousin Eric's beloved recipes she quickly became known in the community for her delicious almond croissant, chocolate croissant, and apple turnovers.

Cakes are also one of our specialties as well as many other tasty treats. No cake is too big or too small. Every cake is made with love, just for you!

Isabelle's is not only famous for her delicious cakes and pastries, but also for her gourmet Panini sandwiches served hot and crispy (see menu). She also serves traditional sandwiches with a twist. Her uncommon combination of ingredients are unique and rarely found in San Diego cafes.
