In our classes kids get to pick out their own materials from our selection of fabrics and notions.  We are primarily a sewing class but our teaching artists went to school for many media such as sculpture, fashion, fine arts and art education, so we dabble in other genres of art as well.  The kids come up with their own ideas and designs and we teach them how to bring their ideas to life.  It can be anything from sewing clothing to sleeping bags to dreamcatchers.  It is a fun, creative environment for kids to be inspired, be themselves and create.
