Inspired by their studies of New Amsterdam and a contemporary artist's view of the city, Magnus' 2/3 class made prints of their own favorite buildings during a trip to the Whitney Museum. "Young Artists of New Amsterdam" is an art book which features rich color reproductions, portraits of each child, and their own words which convey their experience of everyday life in the city. It's not quite coffee table size but belongs on one and makes up for it with a lot of heart and talent and PS3 spirit.
