Charly Team 406 - New Amsterdam Skyline Collage

Item Number: 6063
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Inspired by their studies of the Dutch settlers and early maps of New Amsterdam, the students of 406 have created their own skyline of the early settlement.
The skyline is divided into three panels - the first depicting the southernmost area where the fort, windmills and the first row houses were located, the second showing the early formations of a city and the third showing the pastoral landscape which existed north of Wall Street.
The collage consists of cardboard elements, colored with pencil and crayon, and mounted on wood.
