Restorative yoga might best be described as a supported, conscience body/mind relaxation practice. When supported with props, the body relaxes and opens, releasing tension and stored-up toxins that can cause illness. Restorative poses offer benefits to both the body and mind.
Honestly speaking some yoga poses taste a little bit sweeter than
others. If yoga were a smorgasboard, restorative postures would most
definitely be at the dessert table. These soothing and well-supported
poses offer us the opportunity to linger quietly for a few moments and
savor the simple sweetness of life.
