Take a walk in your woods with Ian Martin, Ecologist and Consulting Forester. Look for clues about past land use, identify wildlife tracks and trees, detect potential threats to your woodlands, and discuss management options. Ian has a BS in Ecology and an MS in Forest Ecology. He worked for the National Park Service as an Ecologist for nearly 15 years in New England, the desert Southwest, California, and Alaska. He now manages over 5,000 acres of private woodlands in Vermont.
