Description
FEI trainer/rider Wanja Gerlach is donating $200 of services which can be applied to your choice of lessons, training or judging a one-day schooling show. Wanja, a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, is trained up to Grand Prix in Dressage, has competed successfully in CCI*** Eventing, is a Level 7 Jumper, has an L Judges Degree, and is an M* Jumper Course Designer.
Wanja earned all three riding badges in the German Abzeichnen System: dressage, jumping, and theory where he was put through a full examination by licensed judges. He went on to do his Bereiter apprenticeship at the LLS in Vechta. He completed his apprenticeship under Bernhard Fischer in Wallenhorst where he was able to concentrate further on dressage. Wanja passed his Bereiter exam in 2004 in Warendorf with an outstanding score of 2.51. He has also prepared young horses for the Bundeschampionate (Young Horse National Finals) and was a stallion training rider at the 2009 North American Stallion Licensing at Silver Creek Farm.
In the United States, Wanja has had the opportunity to train with US Dressage Team member Michael Barisone, and famed American jumper rider Joe Fargis. He has competed successfully in the US in licensed dressage competitions through Intermediare I and at the Level 5 jumpers.
