JJ (Jessica Jo) Tate received her USDF Bronze medal at the age of 14, her Silver at 16, and went on to get her Gold at only 21 years old. After a successful Young Riders career, she spent almost 3 years studying dressage in Europe with Hungarian Olympic competitor, Gyula Dallos. She also spent time in Hubertus Schmidt's barn in Germany. She has trained with Charles de Kunffy, Conrad Schumacher, & Gerhard Politz. JJ became a professional trainer at 21. JJ is currently on the US Developing Riders List and trains with Scott Hassler & Steffen Peters on a regular basis. JJ now runs her business out of Scott Hassler's Riveredge West during the summer and at YellowBird Farm in Wellington, FL during the winter. JJ takes in horses for training, showing, and sales. She also passionately shares her knowledge of classical dressage through teaching clinics all around the country.
