Betsy Novotny became a certified equine body worker through Equinology after becoming immersed in rehabilitation techniques when her horse suffered a very serious tendon injury. She has been able to merge her scientific background (a B.S. in Animal Science from University of Maryland, an M.S. in animal physiology, and many years in research) with her passion for horses into a practice that employs multiple techniques to maximize a horse's performance.
