Another book included in this collection is "The Woman in the Mountain", which explores the lives of Adirondack Mountain women. Her latest book is "Lost Twain", a fictional story behind the historical fact of Mark Twain being "lost" on the island of Maui for many weeks in 1866. It is written in Twain's voice and the voice of the American literary scholar who is searching for the truth of his experience.
Kate, after teaching 19th century fiction at a NY University, spent three years teaching at the University of Hawaii.
