"Sew What" colloquium students have made a Chicago quilt with fabric and machines donated to the school for this purpose!

First Semester completed the front (containing squares handmade depicting Chicago neighborhoods) and this semester the students attached and quilted it.

Over 50 NCP students have participated in the construction and many students spent between 7-20 hours to handstitch a square. For many students, this was their first experience with sewing.

Their teacher Ms. Lisa Volesky says, "This quilt is so charming in that it truly is the NCP community pulling together!"
