You are bidding on a private surf lesson provided by Mar Vista parent, Barry Greene, professional surf instructor and owner of Making the Drop surf school.  Mar Vista's own Mr. J and Mr. M will be teaching the lessons as well!

Winning bids include instruction, wetsuit, and the board rental for the day.  No surf experience necessary.  However, students must attend Mar Vista and be in grades 3-6th.  They must also be competent swimmers and comfortable in the ocean with small waves.

WHEN:

Saturday, April 5th, 2:00-3:30pm (primary date)

Sunday, April 27th, 12:00-1:30pm (back-up date in case weather/surf conditions are poor on April 5th)

WHERE:

Meet at the cliff at the end of 41st Ave.  We will assess the best spot to surf, within walking distance, depending on conditions.

Due to scheduling considerations, student must be available on the dates above.  Sorry, no exceptions.  Please check your family calendar before bidding.

This year there will only be three spots so bid early and bid often!  Hope to see YOU in the water!
