Description
Winning bidder will receive two spots in a "knife skills" class from Clover in Brookline Village. Learn basic cuts, knife safety, basic sharpening and take a timed test if you dare. The class is taught by Clover chefs.
About Clover's Knife Skills Class:
This beginner’s class includes all the basics of handling a knife in the professional kitchen and at home.
Learn:
-how to hold a knife properly and safely
-the best kinds of knives to use,
-3 basic cuts (and tricks to save time) that will serve you well when cooking
You can take a timed test, and if you pass, you’ll get a knife as a gift from us (you can still take the test to see how you do)!
About Clover:
Our food philosophy is driven by simplicity. I’d rather have you shocked by how delicious our turnip soup tastes than impress you with an exotic ingredient or fancy technique or flowery menu description.
We try to keep everything very simple, but very careful. If you eat with us for breakfast you know that we’re making the soup or salads in the morning and prepping for lunch. We don’t make ketchup. We don’t make Mayonnaise. We make just about everything else every day.
This is Fast Food. We’re obsessed with speed and constantly time ourselves. Our average serve times are around 3.5 minutes, which makes us a little slower than McDonald’s.
We're here to make food you love, the kind you talk about and look forward to eating. The Clover Food Lab is serving up a new type of fast food. This food is local, it’s just-cut, when we can it is organic.
