Music Director Wynton Marsalis and drummer Ali Jackson present the compositions of virtuosos Christian McBride and Kurt Rosenwinkel. The guitarist McBride was a high schooler in 1995 when he first met Marsalis. Bassist Rosenwinkel's JALC debut reflects a musical journey begun two decades ago at Smalls in Greenwich Village, where he refined his unique guitar sound. The full Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra appears in the wonderfully designed Rose Theater. Recommended for ages 13 and above.
