This certificate entitles you to 4 Basic Keelboat lessons on the San Francisco Bay. The classes are held on 2 consecutive weekends(Saturday and Sunday 9am-3:30pm). You will earn internationally recognized American Sailing Association certification upon successful completion of course.

At the basic keelboat level you'll learn sailing terminology and its applications, knots, points of sail, rules of the road, introduction to docking, and more. All your class time (4 days) is hands-on training under the guidance of a US Coast Guard-licensed instructor. Upon successful completion of the course you'll be Basic Keelboat certified, ready to move to the next level and well on your way to chartering on your own. this class is limited to 4 students.
