A beautifully poignant painting by Los Angeles folk artist (and probable farm laborer) David A Lopez painted in 1975; the same year that Cesar Chavez's work in California led to the enactment of the Agricultural Labor Relations Act of 1975 that was signed governor Jerry Brown.  There is no information about the David A. Lopez other than that he was a patient of Dr. Rudolph Ponce (WSP grandparent), who received the artwork as a gift of thanks for the medical care provided to Mr. Lopez and family in Los Angeles.
