Description

Whether to cuddle or collect, these hand-made Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls will delight doll lovers of any age. Author and illustrator Johnny Gruelle created the orginal Raggedy Ann dolls in 1915 and introduced her to the public along with the 1918 book Raggedy Ann Stories. A sequel, Raggedy Andy Stories (1920) introduced the character of her brother, Raggedy Andy, dressed in sailor suit and hat.

Raggedy Ann, and her equally spirited rag brother, Andy have become the world's best-known and most adored rag dolls. And the Raggedys weren't ever simply dolls. They were literary characters as well, possessing attributes and outlooks reflecting trustworthiness, kindness, and spunk.

Dolls are approximately 20" tall.
