William Quayle of Polestar Benches and Boards offers the successful bidder for this item a custom designed Zen-style meditation bench. The bench will be designed in consultation with the user. 

The handcrafted bench will be made from locally salvaged and reclaimed woods from the Big Island of Hawaii, home to Polestar. Benches are designed and cut in such a way as to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. Many of the designs features a "live" edge incorporating a tree's bark and wood, beautiful grain patterns, knots and curves. Legs can be either fixed or foldable and the size can be considered with the user in mind.
