The successful bidder for Ocean of Compassion's "Yoga Basics" course will take part in four Saturday morning yoga classes of their choice during 2015.  

Join Evelyn Neely as she leads this class in Yoga basics, focused on Hatha Yoga poses with emphasis on the details of specific postures, alignment, breathing and relaxation techniques. The student will be gently guided into a quiet, grounded practice which celebrates the meditative, peaceful qualities of classical yoga. This is a great way to learn the basics and build a solid foundation from the ground up.

Ocean of Compassion is the Foundation for the Preservation of Mahayana Teachings (FPMT)-affiliated center in Silicon Valley. It offers classes in the Gelug lineage of Tibetan Buddhism by certified teachers, as well as Yoga and Mindfulness classes and support groups. Our programs, which are provided in the English language, are open to all.
