"Tara Visits the Raven's Pond" is from a series entitled Icons painted by Sandy Eastoak.  

Says Sandy, "The religion I seek to realize is Zen Buddhism, curved around my pagan ancestry, Christian culture, and Native American soil. Questioning the ecocrisis as a spiritual dilemma comes with smelling the air. To follow the scent, I improvise an iconography where religious traditions converge in the sacredness of nature."

Sandy is one of the founders of Sebastopol Gallery in Sebastopol, California.
