Darlene has always loved animals and is the owner of Scooter's School of Sit & Stay. Her most recent accomplishments include becoming a member of the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). The DWAA is a professional organization of writers, photographers and illustrators that promotes the interests of dogs. The APDT is an organization of dog trainers committed to becoming better trainers through education.

Darlene is offering a certificate of four (4) Private Lessons valued at $199 to the high bidder. The private lessons are done at the high bidder's home as this has been found to be the best way Darlene can see the true behavior of the dog and work with you to modify it. Coming to your home is helpful if you have multiple dogs.

Private Lessons are good for dogs that have not been socialized with other dogs or people. Or if you have a dog that has a specific issue you would like to address. Some examples are housetraining, jumping, pulling on a leash, nipping and chewing.

Positive reinforcement training is the method used.
