The children in Ms. Chungs 4th grade class have been learning all about Native American Indians and their customs and culture. They have also learned all about how important it is to come together as a community to help each other grow and learn. As a way to breathe life into this curriculum, we have chosen Basketweaving as our class auction project. The kids wove a basket together and each child created their own unique stamp by helping decorate it in their own way. We reached out to Native American Basket Weavers to help guide the project and provide insight to the importance of BasketWeaving to the Native American culture.
