On location family portrait session.
A family portrait is one of the most important things you can have in your home. While your life changes around you, it's so nice to have a permanent reminder of your family at a specific time in your lives. In addition to formal posed pictures we can also create a series of images in a place that is special to your family. It could be in the city or a favorite park or playground. Prior to your session I'd love to hear your ideas and also learn a bit about the personalities that make up your family.

My approach to photography combines a photo journalistic story telling style with suggestive directing when I see an opportunity. I have a talent for anticipating moments, looking for the light, and finding ways to connect with my subjects to capture an emotional quality.
I have immersed myself in all kinds photographic pursuits including weddings, portraits (especially families and children), fine art, macro, and still life. When shooting weddings I create a body of work that encompasses photographic techniques specific to all those areas.Photography has been a long-time passion and a favorite aspect of my career. With 16 years of experience as a graphic designer and art director, I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from many talented photographers on location and in the studio shooting for large scale campaigns.
