Join a local beekeeper for an afternoon learning about honeybees, beekeeping, and honey.  We will visit an apiary (a bee suit will be provided) and explore the world of honey bees in the hive.  We will work with a number of hives and discuss various aspects of bee keeping.  A jar of honey and a healthy honey-based preserves will accompany you home.
