One of our Rotarians attended the Knit Retreat in Freeport this past February.  She met a woman, who wished to remain anonymous, who had hand knit this luxurious shawl.  Made of a blend of cashmere and alpaca, the fawn brown wool is soft to the touch and warm, incredibly warm.  The shawl measures 6 1/2 feet long, 18 inches wide.  A cable knit runs the length accented with a delicate picot knit edge.   There is no fringe.
