Years ago, Joseph would enjoy the Manta Rays swimming through the lights set out by the Kona Surf Hotel in Hawaii. He would watch as these amazing majestic creatures would glide like angel through the beams of light showing through the ocean water. He was inspired to create this piece by hand sculpting it in wax and cast. After the casting he would sand each piece by hand and then polish them with a high quality polish.
