Stargazing is a 20 x 20 acrylic painting on canvas. Together, each element of this painting unites to convey a message, a message of hope and freedom.

The Stargazer lily is one of my personal favorites. These beautiful, graceful flowers symbolize innocence. In this painting they represent Lolita and all beings that are taken and forced to live a life of captivity. They are all innocence in a fate that has been chosen for them, a fate where their freedom has been stolen. The vast waters and eternal sky stretch out before these jumping orcas, representing complete freedom. They gaze upon the stars which symbolize hope and guidance. My hope is that Lolita will soon find herself back home in the waters of her birth, guided back to her family where she may swim free, free as she is meant to be.
