Description

Salt soap gets to be a favorite once you use it. You have to try it at least once! Salt soaps are best aged at least three months and longer is better. This one I made last summer and so it's prime! I held back one bar for this auction, so bid away. Scented with Red Apple, which really really smells like an apple. This soap will lather slightly pink, because non-bleeding red colorants are near impossible to find or make, especially in bright apple red. This turned out pink. Won't stain you but you may not want to use a white washcloth, just in case. Made in small batches with great care, handmade soap offers a much gentler cleaning than commercial soap, which are detergent bars. Handmade leaves all the glycerin in the soap, which makes for a much more skin-friendly experience. Abundant lather, nice fragrances and (usually) colorful soaps will be a treat for you every time you shower! Handmade soap needs to dry between uses. If left in a puddle, it will get very smushy. Doesn't last as long as commercial soap but it's totally worth it.
