Salt soap. Sounds strange and indeed it is a different experience. The soap is rock hard and heavy, not one to drop on your foot in the shower. The lather is a little different and I think of it as slightly crinkly but abundant; it just has a different texture to it. Leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky. Beware that it will sting in any small cuts or scrapes- it is salt soap after all. A long-lasting bar. This bar is quite large; I overestimated the amount of batter and so heaped it up. It may be a bit big for small hands. Made in small batches with great care, handmade soap offers a much gentler cleaning than commercial soap, which are detergent bars. Handmade leaves all the glycerin in the soap, which makes for a much more skin-friendly experience. Abundant lather, nice fragrances and (usually) colorful soaps will be a treat for you every time you shower! Handmade soap needs to dry between uses. If left in a puddle, it will get very smushy. Doesn't last as long as commercial soap but it's totally worth it.
