Someone shared their recipe for one of the best shaving soaps many of us have come across. Whips up a thick dense shaving foam that will last at least 15 minutes. If you enjoy wet shaving, this is worth a try. You can put this into your shaving bowl if you'd like. Women on the soaping forum have fallen in love with this as well. While it won't lather up in your hands like it will with a shaving brush, you can still use the lather or rub the bar on legs and work it up, then shave. All the women have converted over to it because they get such a nice shave on their legs and underarms. Not just for men! Scented with Orange Peel.
Special Instructions
This bar will hold its shape but it is not a hard bar. More like a stiff putty. However, it will work as a bar for women who would like to try it for shaving. Same as all handmade soaps, it will not do to leave it sitting in water so dry between uses. It may not be the most attractive looking bar (also my lighting for the picture stinks. It's white, truly.) But if you saw how it's made you would understand the variegations in it. Seriously, try it. Ingredients: stearic acid, coconut oil, water, potassium hydroxide, glycerin, bentonite clay, fragrance oil.
