Poornamurti is a student of Vedic Astrology, and has completed a 200 hour training through the American Institute of Vedic Studies. The consultations offered are therefore at a student level. (Note that readings with more experienced astrologers are typically over $150.)
Special Instructions
Vedic Astrology, or Jyotish, is an ancient form of Astrology that comes from the Indian tradition of the Vedas. This system of Astrology thus is related to Yoga and Ayurveda, and integrates well with them. It can provide insight into our path in life, and can also show what we may need to work on for personal growth and healing. The birth chart, which shows the planetary positions at the time of birth, is said to be a map of the karmas. It can show our personal strengths and challenges, and can be useful as a tool to enhance self-awareness and self-understanding.
