Description

Join us for a screening of the award-winning film "The Revolutionary Optimists," co-directed by St. Paul's parent, Nicole Newnham. The Revolutionary Optimists follows Bengali artist and ex-attorney, Amlan Ganguly, and three of the children he works with on an intimate journey through adolescence, as they fight for the better future he encourages them to believe is deservedly theirs. Ganguly doesn't 'rescue' Kolkata's slum children; he empowers them to become change agents, battling poverty and oppression with impressive results. This evening will be an intimate screening of the documentary at the home of Tucker Malarkey, followed by a fabulous Indian dinner and post-screening discussion with the filmmaker. Saturday, September 13, 2014, 6:00 p.m.

Value: $75 per person with room for 10
