Tsubo is a Chicago based hair and body loft founded in 2006.  At the West Town salon, we practice a style of hairdressing that reinforces an understated and inclusive approach to simple beauty. With a dedication to the person in our hands, our talent and a focus on the highest quality product, everything created at Tsubo is done with intention and spirit. In addition to our hair care services, we provide a relaxed environment for our clients to focus on themselves completely.  We offer classes and training for strength in mind, body, spirit, and personal growth by our seasoned facilitators. 

In contrast to the aesthetic of many spas, Tsubo  carries the clear message that beauty is in everyone and it’s this that has given the name its unique identity. Tsubo is a point in the body where many energy lines meet.  Our salon and accompanying body-spa annex is set in a beautiful brick loft building in the heart of the city’s most sophisticated industrial area, where energy lives.
