Andrew Drury is the proud parent of an ICE 7^th grader and he is an internationally acclaimed drummer who has performed and recorded with artists such as Jason Kao Hwang, Robert Dick, Elliott Sharp, Wadada Leo Smith, and Myra Melford on over 40 cds. In addition to playing drum set in jazz, pop, and contemporary classical settings he also performs using a single drum as a wind instrument and in a variety of unusual and inventive ways. As an educator he has taught through the Carnegie Hall Weill Institute, American Composers Orchestra, led master classes and workshops in universities, homeless shelters, museums, prisons, and in remote villages in Nicaragua and Guatemala.
