In this class, you’ll learn the basics of homebrewing. We’ll cover:
Brief history of brewing
Ingredients used
Basic brewing equipment
Brewing process
We’ll brew a batch of beer, and have homebrew on-hand to sample during the class.
Prerequesites:
No previous brewing experience or knowledge is necessary, but a love of beer and a desire to learn how it is made are recommended. Must be 21 years of age or older and able to attend a class in San Jose, CA.

Background:
Travis Rappleye is a biotechnology professional with over 10 years experience in biomaterials development. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Chemistry from San Jose State University. He has been home brewing for over four years, and has developed quite a passion and respect for the art over that time. His homebrewing claim to fame is taking 3rd place in a local competition with a Belgian Dubbel.

Following the close of the auction on May 19th, certificate will be available for pick up at Allen at Steinbeck K-8 School. Shipping charges, if applicable, are the responsibility of the auction winner and are not included in the bid. Shipping charges are extra and will be added to your total amount due.
