The winner of this auction item is entitled to one piece of art from the presentation of Erik Wahl during the Opening General Session of the DMAI Annual Convention!
During the Opening General Session, artisit and storyteller, Erik Wahl, will be painting three pieces of art, one of which Mr. Wahl has graciously donated to this year's summer auction! Become the proud owner of this one of a kind masterpiece and take home a memoir from your time spent at this year's annual convention!
Special Instructions
The art will be displayed in the PCMA Exhibit Booth during the duration of the convention and then will be sent to the winning bidder once the event closes.
"In an effort to continually challenge his own artistic abilities, Erik’s vision has moved past the canvas to new mediums, such as public walls, sidewalks, empty factories, barren deserts and the middle of a forest. He incorporates new artistic tools like driftwood, dirt, rocks, seashells or even shoelaces. Each time Erik finishes a piece of graffiti art, either in a side-alley or a beach in California, he imagines someone would eventually come across it and ask themselves the question, “Why? Why would someone put that image here?”
Erik’s response would be, “Why not?”"
