You’ll have your choice of stay in either a Jungle Estate Room or in a Promontory Tented Suite.

The Jungle Estate Rooms, perched above Playa Primera, are designed as villas with outdoor walkways and adjoining balconies. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame an eastward ocean view for a stunning glimpse of the sunrise. Warm hardwoods and bamboo floors bring elegance to the interior, and cantilevered ceilings allow natural light to stream in. Furniture and artwork crafted by Panamanian artisans bring local character to these stunning spaces. Private outdoor showers and decks perfect the experience. A queen-sized bed and cozy sitting area provide the perfect respite after a day of island adventure.

The spacious Promontory Tented Suites are perched high on a bluff overlooking the island's largest beach, and provide a luxury camping experience in the wild jungle. These superior Tented Suites have sweeping views of Playa Palenque and the Gulf of Chiriqui -- front row seats for the sunset. The only walls surrounding your private outdoor living room are lush leaves, palm and the trunks of trees over 100 feet tall. Hardwood floors stretch into a fully-enclosed bedroom with canvas wall and plush queen-sized bed. A spacious modern bathroom with an outdoor shower perfects the tented escape.

You’ll have two choices for dining, either “Eden”, offering authentic Panamanian cuisine, or “Las Rocas”, an island grill.

Take a refreshing dip the infinity pool or lounge beside the twelve-foot waterfall in the wading pool below.

Explore the island on well-marked trails. You’ll encounter the iconic wildlife of Isla Palenque -- howler monkeys, iguanas, mapaches, anteaters and more – amid ecosystems bursting with wild orchids, bright birds, and tropical butterflies. Or, knowledgeable local guides will lead you through lagoons, to the edge of Punta Ballena for a natural waterworks show, and into the secret bat cave on Isleta Amelia, to name a few landmarks.

You can choose to observe the rare Pacific island landscapes from a boat, diving in along the coral reefs, kayaking through mesmerizing coastal waters, or swimming ashore to indulge in an island fantasy on one of the numerous uninhabited islands.

Included, is participation in any scheduled guided Island Tours or Ocean Adventures and round-trip transportation between David Airport, on mainland Panama, to the Resort.
